Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Frame Studio, the marketing site at useframestudio.com, and the application at https://app.useframestudio.com. By using either, you agree to them.

Frame Studio is run by Peter Csipkay, an independent developer. “We” and “us” in these terms mean him.

Your content is yours

You keep all rights to the media you bring into Frame Studio and to the videos you export from it. We claim no ownership and no licence over either. You may use your exports commercially, including for paid client work, on both the Free and Pro plans. Free exports carry a small watermark; Pro exports do not.

You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you upload: images, video, and especially music. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Don't use Frame Studio to:

• create material that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate a real person or organisation in a way intended to deceive;
• circumvent the watermark, plan limits, or payment mechanisms;
• attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

Accounts

You can use the free tier without an account. If you create one, keep your login details secure, because activity under your account is your responsibility. Tell us promptly athello@petercsipkay.com if you believe it has been compromised.

Plans and billing

Pro is $9 per month, billed monthly until cancelled, or $79 as a single payment for lifetime access. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies in your jurisdiction. Payments are handled by Stripe.

A monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time and stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. "Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the Frame Studioservice. It does not expire on a date, but it also cannot outlive the product itself.

Refunds

If Frame Studio doesn't do what you expected, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you. We would rather issue a refund than keep money from someone who isn't getting value from the product.

Availability

We aim to keep Frame Studio available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely while you hold an active paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.

Because rendering and export happen on your own device, performance depends on your hardware and browser. Some features, MP4 export in particular, depend on browser APIs that are not available everywhere; see the specifications on the home page for current support.

Disclaimer and liability

Frame Studio is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from your use of Frame Studio is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Frame Studio at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why where we reasonably can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, sent by email. Continuing to use Frame Studio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
